If you're looking for the city and/or nightlife, this is not the place for you. However, if you want pure R&R, need to relieve the stress & pressures of everyday life, you won't find a better place. A little rustic, but not too much -- you have cool, clear, clean water; little traffic so easy to walk, hike, run or bike; a boat comes with your cottage; the bay for fishing; the lake for swimming -- and don't listen to all those people who tell you Lake Ontario is 'cold'! It's invigorating, but not near as cold as it once was -- global warming is here too!
